It's late September. That means it's time for a new State of Delaware Apprenticeship season.
In our quest to develop Eastern Highway's "next Generation" we are a proud participant in the State program. This year we will have nearly a dozen students enrolled in the Carpentry, Construction Craft Laborer, Heavy Equipment Operator and Iron Worker programs.

As a sign of our appreciation for the commitment of time our employees make by participating in the program, which includes extra hours away from their families, each year we pick a nice restaurant in Wilmington to kick off the new school year. This year we held our dinner at the Columbus Inn, enjoying a fun steak dinner and camaraderie with apprentices and family members. Good luck in this year's classes!
