On May 1st we were proud to participate in the 4th annual "Career signing day" at Delcastle Technical High School in Wilmington. 200 seniors who have taken part in the Co-Op process, and will begin working full time upon graduation gathered ceremoniously "to sign" with the company they plan to work for after graduation. EHS was proud to "sign" our Senior Co-Op Bexi Onofre, who will begin working full time upon graduation:

In April, our team began a $2.8 million DELDOT job to repair the Woodland Beach bridge over Duck Creek, to repair the deck and bridge structure, including spall repairs, and bridge pier repairs and installing fiber glass pile jackers. The project will enable traffic to continue to get to and from the beautiful Woodland Beach area.

The job began in mid April and is scheduled to take 327 days.

We are proud to have received the 2022 Governor's Safety award at the Delaware Contractor's Association banquet on April 27th. This is the 11th year in a row that we have won this award, illustrating our strong commitment to safety.

This award honors those firms emphasizing safety while bringing distinction, skill and integrity to the construction industry. The Governor’s Safety Awards are co-sponsored by the State of Delaware’s Department of Labor and the Delaware Contractors Association.

To be eligible for consideration, companies must have an incident rate at or below the industry average for their business. EHS competes in the category – Heavy/Highway-SIC Code 16
